Rohan Jaitley mandates Ranji Trophy participation for Delhi players

DDCA president Rohan Jaitley has announced that cricketers skipping the Ranji Trophy will face exclusion from Delhi squads in other formats. The directive aims to ensure participation in the premier domestic tournament following observations that some senior fast bowlers have prioritized T20 leagues. Jaitley stated the association will monitor player availability closely throughout the upcoming season. Alongside these player management policies, the DDCA is currently evaluating sites in Okhla and Badarpur for a new stadium with a capacity of 70,000 to 80,000 spectators. The organization plans to collaborate with the BCCI to establish the facility. Meanwhile, the Delhi Premier League continues to generate revenue that covers expenses for Delhi state teams across various age groups and genders.
