Roma approach Stuttgart for Jamie Leweling with €40m offer

Roma has approached VfB Stuttgart concerning winger Jamie Leweling, proposing a loan with an obligation to buy for €40 million. The offer reportedly includes a €5 million loan fee with a €35 million option to buy that could become mandatory if Roma qualifies for the Champions League next season. The Giallorossi are in urgent need of a wide attacker as the transfer deadline approaches. Besides Leweling, Roma is also considering Luiz Henrique of Zenit St. Petersburg and Chelsea's Jamie Gittens, although both players may not be available under these terms. Leonardo Balerdi has been signed on loan from Olympique Marseille, pending a medical.
