Roma eyes late loan move for Chelsea winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens

Summary

AS Roma is preparing a late transfer window pursuit of Chelsea winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to bolster its attacking options. The Serie A club has proposed a deal featuring a €5 million loan fee and a €55 million purchase option. Previous inquiries from Roma were rejected by the Blues, but the Italian side hopes a larger financial commitment will open formal negotiations. Bynoe-Gittens has found playing time difficult to secure at Stamford Bridge, appearing only in one EFL Cup match this season. Roma currently sits atop the Serie A standings and intends to finalize an attacking signing before its upcoming match against Atalanta at Stadio Olimpico. Head coach Gian Piero Gasperini aims to increase squad depth ahead of the club's return to Champions League competition.
