Roma interested in Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens ahead of new season

Roma is pursuing Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens as they look to strengthen their attack ahead of the upcoming season. Gittens, who transferred to Chelsea for €56 million from Borussia Dortmund last summer, struggled with injuries last season and played only 495 league minutes. With new manager Xabi Alonso at Chelsea, Gittens may find himself with limited playing time. Reports indicate that Chelsea might be open to a loan deal for the player. Roma's urgency increases as the new season approaches next month.
