Roma set to receive €6m from Calafiori transfer settlement with Basel

Roma is poised to secure around €6 million related to Riccardo Calafiori's transfer to Arsenal, as they near a resolution with FC Basel over a longstanding dispute regarding a sell-on clause from Calafiori's 2022 transfer. The Italian club originally sold Calafiori to Basel for €2.5 million and retained a 40% clause on future transfers. After Calafiori moved to Arsenal for a reported €45 million, Roma argued they were entitled to a share of the proceeds related to Basel's sell-on profits.
