Michael Rubin, the billionaire founder and CEO of Fanatics, held his annual party —for which attendees are encouraged to wear all-white attire — to mark the nation’s 250th birthday. The guest list included some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Jay-Z, Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor,Martha Stewart, and Ice Spice. Among the sports stars invited were Tom Brady, Mike Tyson, Alex Rodriguez, and Karl-Anthony Towns. Billboard reported the party featured performances by Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, Cardi B, and Snoop Dogg. Reigns wasn’t the only V.I.P. representing WWE at the party. TKO President Mark Shapiro, WWE President Nick Khan, and Logan Paul were in attendance. Logan’s brother, Jake Paul, was also there, as was erstwhile WWE guest star Travis Scott. Ivanka Trump, daughter of President Donald Trump and one of his former top advisers, posted images on Instagram of her outfit for the event and thanked Rubin for the invite. Reigns last potentially crossed paths with Ivanka last month at UFC Freedom 250. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion was seen at the UFC event, which took place on the South Lawn of the White House, with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Ivanka, meanwhile, was pictured alongside her father and her husband, Jared Kushner, at UFC Freedom 250. The OTC’s attendance of the White House event drew a mixed reaction from wrestling fans, even though he has spoken in the past about his support for Trump. Some well-known figures in the wrestling world also criticized Reigns for the appearance, including actor and wrestler Paul Walter Hauser, who called the WWE star an “actual dork.” Legendary former wrestling manager turned podcaster Jim Cornette was even more damning in his comments about Reigns. “He’ll go to Saudi Arabia. He’ll go to the White House. He’ll go wherever they’ll pay him. He’s just an attention whore,” Cornette said on his Drive-Thru podcast last month.
