Roman Reigns, Penta see stock rise while Oba Femi, LA Knight drop

Some places do power rankings. Here at Cageside, we do a stock report. In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included Clash In Italy, a lot of fortunes were changed. With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased the most this week: Stock Down #3: Oba Femi Oba Femi was on top of the world after sending Brock Lesnar into fake retirement at WrestleMania 42. And while The Ruler is still pretty close to that top spot, he’s lost some momentum with the way his weekly Open Challenge quickly fizzled out, combined with now losing the rematch to Lesnar’s F5 spam at Clash In Italy. Even if Oba does go on to beat Brock in the rubber match, I don’t see how that’s better for him than where he was coming out of WrestleMania as the guy who kicked Lesnar’s ass into retirement. In other words, Oba isn’t the one who needed this story to extend beyond the first match. Stock Down #2: LA Knight I think months of middling booking finally caught up with the megastar on this week’s Raw when the live audience was noticeably quieter for him than usual during a promo segment with Jimmy Uso that was hard to care about. Maybe it was just a fluky one week thing where Raw didn’t have a lively crowd, but this could also be a warning sign that WWE fans just aren’t into Knight as much as they used to be. Stock Down #1: The Vision WWE announced on Raw that Logan Paul is out for months following triceps surgery, which makes him the latest member of The Vision to succumb to a devastating injury. Paul Heyman’s faction appears to be cursed by these injuries, even without Danhausen getting involved in their business. The bottom line is that it’s hard to take The Vision seriously as a top threat on Raw when Austin Theory is second in command and also the enforcer of the group, while Maxxine Dupri looks like the next potential member to join. Now let’s see whose stock increased the most this week. Stock Up #3: Penta Penta closed out May with a hot run as Intercontinental champion, picking up wins over Ethan Page and Je’Von Evans, and also being lined up for a future title defense against all-time great Rey Mysterio. Penta has been one of the best babyfaces in WWE in 2026, and he is being rewarded with a fun title reign that is establishing him as a big star on Raw. Stock Up #2: Chad Gable & El Grande Americano (aka Ludwig Kaiser) It’s certainly possible that the Mask vs. Mask match of the year candidate these guys just had at AAA Noche de Los Grandes won’t have much bearing on their booking in WWE, but if there ever was a time for that to change, it’s right now. Stock Up #1: Roman Reigns A lot of WWE’s storytelling revolves around Roman Reigns again now that he is the world heavyweight champion who regularly appears on Raw and PLEs. Jacob Fatu has to fall in line behind him after losing in Tribal Combat, and it looks like Solo Sikoa’s MFTs are getting back in Roman’s orbit too. Is Reigns about to unite the entire family to dominate WWE again for years as the top star and champion? It’s no wonder he made the following statement after winning at Clash In Italy: “Now they know who the Head of the Table is. Who the captain of the ship is. QB1, fuck that noise.
