Roman Reigns is defending the world heavyweight championship against Seth Rollins in the main event of SummerSlam night two this Sunday (Aug. 2) at U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I think most WWE fans expect that the Tribal Chief will walk out of the PLE with his world title reign intact. However, Roman has had a very busy WWE schedule since WrestleMania 42, leaving plenty of folks to wonder if it’s time for another extended hiatus that could warrant a title change. That includes the Raw after SummerSlam, Raw in Mexico City in September, and the Money in the Bank PLE in October. Aug. 3 (Mon.): Raw in Des Moines, Iowa Aug. 17 (Mon.): Raw in Buffalo, New York Aug. 28 (Fri.): Raw/SmackDown taping in Cleveland, Ohio Sept. 14 (Mon.): Raw in Mexico City, Mexico Oct. 5 (Mon.): Raw in St. Louis, Missouri Oct. 10 (Sat.): Money in the Bank in New Orleans, Louisiana That’s certainly not a full-time schedule for Roman Reigns after SummerSlam (pending more dates being added), but he looks busy enough to hold onto that world championship, especially with a potential title defense that can take place at Money in the Bank.
