Roma's new stadium talks progress as key decision conference approaches

Talks for AS Roma's new stadium in Pietralata are nearing completion with a critical Conference of Services set to occur today at 10:30 a.m. at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport’s headquarters. The conference, overseen by Massimo Sessa, the Government’s Special Commissioner for Euro 2032 Stadiums, aims to provide final opinions on the project. Approximately 50 institutional and technical entities are involved in the meeting, including representatives from the City of Rome and various health and transportation authorities. Should the conference grant approval, Roma anticipates beginning construction with the foundation stone laying planned for March or April 2027.
