Romeo Juarez of Reseda High finished fourth at the CIF state golf championships held at San Gabriel Country Club. This performance marks the highest finish for a City Section golfer at the event, as Juarez shot a two-under-par 69. The junior, who missed last season due to academic ineligibility, previously claimed the City individual title on May 20. Juarez expressed motivation to improve further after narrowly missing first place, which was secured by Drue Sanchez of De La Salle with a score of 66.
