Rooney criticizes Manchester United players after Bournemouth defeat

Wayne Rooney expressed strong criticism of the Manchester United players following their recent loss to Bournemouth on October 25, 2026. The defeat marked United's second consecutive loss, following a 4-1 defeat to Como in the Champions League. Rooney suggested that the team's performance was unacceptable and that players needed to reassess their commitment to the club. Meanwhile, manager Michael Carrick faces increasing pressure, despite fan support. United is set to play Chelsea next in an effort to end an eight-game winless streak.
