The Open Championship 2026 begins on July 16 at Royal Birkdale, featuring Rory McIlroy and defending champion Scottie Scheffler. McIlroy is set to tee off at 3:15 PM BST in the first round, grouped with Matt Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele. Scheffler, alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Tyrrell Hatton, tees off earlier at 9:58 AM BST. Other notable groups include Tommy Fleetwood with Jon Rahm and Jordan Spieth.
