Rosemary Longisa wins national title at NCAA Outdoor Championships

Longisa established an early lead and finished with a time of 4:12.10, nearly one second ahead of the runner-up. This victory makes Longisa Washington State's first individual national champion since 2011. Remarkably, her success capped a standout sophomore season, which also included breaking a 15-year-old school record in the 800 meters. Longisa will transfer to Iowa State, following her coach Laura Harmon.
