Ross Chastain issued a response to recent comments made by Kevin Harvick on the SPEED with Harvick and Buxton podcast regarding his future at Trackhouse Racing. Currently under contract through 2027, Chastain noted that speculation about his career is expected in the sport and attributed Harvick’s remarks to the nature of his current broadcasting and podcasting role. Chastain maintains he is focused on his performance in the No. 1 car at Darlington Raceway rather than outside assessments of his employment. The driver joined the team in 2022 and has recorded six Cup Series victories during his tenure.
