Rotherham signs defender Aljofree on two-year deal

Rotherham United has signed defender Sonny Aljofree on a two-year contract after his release from Manchester United this summer. Aljofree, who can play at centre-back or right-back, joins following loan spells at Altrincham, Accrington Stanley, and Notts County. He appeared for Manchester United in Premier League 2 last season but did not make any first-team appearances. Rotherham has the option to extend his contract for another year. Aljofree has been on trial during pre-season prior to this agreement.
