Tonight’s (July 26) AEW Redemption pay-per-view takes place in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, so the Buy In pre-show featured a celebration of 80 years of the Rougeau family wrestling dynasty. Jacques and Raymond Rougeau, who you might remember as The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers from their WWF run in the late 1980’s, were on hand to soak in the adulation from the live fans. Well, that’s what Raymond was there for. Jacques was there to tell his haters to kiss his ass. In this case it was Rocky Romero who interrupted to declare that the Rougeau family doesn’t measure up to the Don Callis family. Jacques wasn’t in the mood to deal with Rocky’s bullshit, so he lived up to his famous Mountie theme song by getting his man with a huge slap to the face.
