"TKO held a press conference at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona today (Aug. 4) to announce its bringing a bevy of its brands to the state next year. Those include UFC, Zuffa Boxing, and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) events, as well as one of WWE’s biggest annual PPVs premium live events, Royal Rumble! The news came, oddly enough, from the mouth of Murica-lovin’ truck salesman, Trump acolyte, and UFC president Dana White. Breaking News: The annual WWE Royal Rumble PLE will be in Arizona pic.twitter.com/2LxnpxyJUV — Zach Gershman (@ZachAZCards) August 4, 2026 As White promised, more information came along later. Sadly, I couldn’t find a clip of interim WWE Women’s champion Chelsea Green and Nikki Bella presentation, but did find the pretty amazing picture of TKO brand synergy in action you see at the top of the post. It’s been a couple days, and I still popped big for champ Chels. But I digress… Confirmation came without video confirmation, however. We still don’t have an exact date, but Royal Rumble 2027 will again be in February. One year after taking place in Saudi Arabia, next year’s Rumble will take place at the same site as today’s event, Glendale’s State Farm Stadium. The home of the Fiesta Bowl and the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals hosted WrestleMania 26 and three Super Bowls. It has a retractable roof, and holds more than 60,000 people. Haven’t heard any talk of the Rumble joining ‘Mania and SummerSlam as two night events, but we’ll need to hear a date before we say anything for sure. Excited for next year’s Royal Rumble? Anybody making the trip to the U.S.‘s southwestern desert for the show?
