Royals activate Vinnie Pasquantino and Maikel Garcia, cut Starling Marte

The Kansas City Royals activated Vinnie Pasquantino and Maikel Garcia from the Injured List ahead of their game tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers. In corresponding moves, the team designated outfielder Starling Marte for assignment and demoted infielder Josh Rojas. Connor Thomas was added to the bullpen after being claimed off waivers. Pasquantino, who has struggled with injuries this season, will return to first base, while Garcia steps into the lineup hitting fourth.
