Royals call up Beck Way and claim Matthew Lugo off waivers

The Kansas City Royals have called up reliever Beck Way from Triple-A Omaha and claimed outfielder Matthew Lugo off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels. Lugo will be assigned to Omaha as part of these roster moves. The Royals also optioned reliever Eli Morgan to the Storm Chasers and announced that Bailey Falter has cleared waivers. Way, a former top prospect, has improved this season with a 4.50 ERA in 19 outings at Triple-A, while Lugo had previously struggled with a.232 batting average in 31 games with the Angels last year.
