Ruben Dias names Bernardo Silva as most underrated player

Summary

Ruben Dias has identified former Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva as the most underrated footballer he has ever played with. During his nine seasons at City, Silva made a significant impact, particularly under manager Pep Guardiola. Dias expressed that while Silva's contributions are acknowledged, he feels the external perception of Silva did not fully capture his influence on the team's success. Dias spoke about this during a filming for a Matchday Live feature ahead of a match against K-League All Stars on August 5. City has planned further games against Atletico Madrid on August 9 as part of their 2026 pre-season tour.
