Rugby league disciplinary committee issues four player suspensions

The Rugby Football League disciplinary panel has handed out multiple suspensions following recent match action. Hull FC forward Joe Batchelor received a two-match ban for Grade D head contact during a match against Warrington Wolves. He will miss the remaining fixtures against Toulouse and Leeds Rhinos. Warrington Wolves hooker Sam Powell also faces a one-match suspension for Grade C dangerous contact, ruling him out of the upcoming match against Wakefield Trinity. Additionally, St Helens prop Daniel Suluka-Fifita was sanctioned with a one-game ban for a Grade C strike during a loss to Leeds Rhinos, forcing him to miss Friday’s match against Leigh Leopards. Castleford Tigers forward Daniel Sarbah also received a one-match suspension for Grade B head contact and is unavailable for the upcoming game against Bradford Bulls.
