Rui Hachimura returns to train with Japanese national basketball team

Rui Hachimura has been selected for the Japanese men's national basketball team's training camp for the second round of the 2027 Basketball World Cup Asian qualifiers, starting August 11. This decision comes after Hachimura announced his intention to return to the national team following a period of disengagement due to management issues surrounding the 2024 Olympics. Alongside him, free agent Yuki Kawamura is also included in the roster of 14 players slated to take part in the camp.
