Hundreds of runners participated in the annual Barbarian Challenge on June 20 at Noccalula Falls Park. The event featured a 6-mile race with various natural and manmade obstacles, aimed at testing participants' strength and endurance. The top finishers in the Elite Horde won unique prizes, including battle axes, while kids could enter a half-mile challenge. This challenge, first held in 2011, is the second-largest event at the park, following the Christmas at the Falls light show.
