This victory marks her first professional win since the 2024 Maybank Championship, following a period that included several runner-up finishes and a top-five performance at the CPKC Women's Open. With her mother in attendance, Yin earned $660,000 for the win. The victory serves as a return to form for the former KPMG Women's PGA Championship winner, who has recorded 50 career top-25 finishes on the tour.
