Rutgers adds Italian forward Diego Garavaglia for 2026-27 season

Rutgers has signed Italian forward Diego Garavaglia to its roster for the 2026-27 season. The 6-foot-6 player previously played as a reserve for Ratiopham Ulm in Germany, averaging 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds last season. Garavaglia stood out at the Under-18 European Championships, with averages of 14.3 points and 7.6 rebounds. His commitment marks one of the final moves for the Scarlet Knights, who may add one more player to the roster.
