Rutgers football secures WR commitment from Arnold Mugerwa

Rutgers football has received a commitment from wide receiver Arnold Mugerwa on June 4. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound recruit from Richland High School in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is rated as a three-star prospect. He is the No. 15 overall recruit in Pennsylvania for his class and the No. 56 wide receiver nationally. Mugerwa had other offers from schools including Florida State and Virginia Tech but opted for Rutgers despite plans to visit Virginia Tech. He is the second wide receiver to join Rutgers’ 2027 recruiting class, following Jamar Taylor.
