Ryan Fitzpatrick predicts Shedeur Sanders will replace Deshaun Watson soon

Deshaun Watson remains the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns as they head into the regular season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 13. Following a disappointing 31-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills in preseason, where Watson struggled with 5 completions on 12 attempts, former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick suggested that the pressure on Watson is mounting and that Shedeur Sanders is poised to take over if Watson falters. Fitzpatrick expressed confidence in Sanders during a Prime Video segment, asserting that the fan support would shift to Sanders if Watson fails to perform. Amid criticism of his recent play, Watson acknowledged the boos from fans as personal, indicating a challenging atmosphere surrounding his position in the team.
