Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn weigh in for welterweight title fight

Summary

Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn successfully made the 147-pound welterweight limit during Friday morning's official weigh-in in Las Vegas. The pair will meet Saturday at T-Mobile Arena for the WBC World Welterweight title, which is currently held by Garcia. This fight serves as the headline event for the weekend's Mexican Independence Day celebration in the city. Both fighters faced questions regarding their ability to reach the welterweight limit prior to the weigh-in, with Benn moving up from lower weight classes and Garcia having previously struggled with the cut.
