Ryan Gerard travels to Switzerland for DP World Tour event after Tour Championship

Following a third-place finish at the Tour Championship, Ryan Gerard traveled to Switzerland to compete in a DP World Tour event. Gerard noted that the trip is necessary to maintain his eligibility on the DP World Tour and avoid potential suspension. The golfer explained that he prefers maintaining a consistent playing rhythm and views the additional overseas tournament time as preparation for a potential Presidents Cup selection. While currently outside the projected top 15, he remains hopeful that his recent performance has drawn the attention of captain Brandt Snedeker. If he is not selected for the Presidents Cup team, Gerard intends to remain in Europe to participate in the Wentworth and France Open tournaments.
