Ryan Hedges unlikely to sign with Derby County despite summer training

Ryan Hedges is not expected to receive a contract from Derby County after training with the team this summer, according to BBC Radio Derby. The winger, who previously worked with head coach John Eustace at Blackburn Rovers, joined the Rams primarily as a favor. Derby's squad is short on numbers as they cope with injuries to several players, including Rhian Brewster and Patrick Agyemang. So far, the club has made only two signings, Bobby Clark and Charlie Taylor, but recruitment efforts are expected to increase shortly.
