Ryan Nembhard signs with Denver Nuggets after multiple trades

Ryan Nembhard has signed with the Denver Nuggets after briefly being an unrestricted free agent. The rookie guard, a former standout at Gonzaga, spent the previous season with the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 6.6 points and 5.3 assists per game. Nembhard was traded to the Atlanta Hawks in July and later waived by the Charlotte Hornets in September. The Nuggets released combo guard KJ Simpson from his two-way contract to accommodate Nembhard ahead of training camp, which has begun in Boulder.
