Ryan Preece confirmed he will race full-time for RFK Racing in 2027, driving the No. 60 car. This announcement follows the team's strong Cup Series qualifying results at Chicagoland Speedway, where all drivers are positioned favorably for upcoming races. RFK Racing president previously stated the team plans to continue fielding three full-time cars, despite losing a third charter to Legacy Motor Club. Preece's contract status had been uncertain along with teammates Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski, but RFK recently extended Buescher’s contract through 2028. The team may need to acquire a charter to ensure all drivers compete without entering open cars next season.
