Ryan Silverfield prepares Arkansas football for upcoming SEC season

Arkansas head coach Ryan Silverfield is implementing facility and operational changes as his program prepares for the upcoming season. These efforts include a late-night scrimmage designed to acclimate the team to a 9:15 p.m. kickoff time scheduled for Sept. 12 in Salt Lake City. The Razorbacks finished 2-10 last season and are currently ranked 36th in the 247Sports Team Talent Composite. Silverfield, who signed a five-year contract worth $33.5 million, aims to rebuild a roster that saw the addition of nearly 80 new players. The team faces a challenging schedule with seven opponents ranked in the AP Top 25 and holds one of the lowest payrolls in the conference at approximately $20 million. Arkansas remains focused on addressing stadium infrastructure and internal operations to improve performance in the competitive SEC.
