Ryan ten Doeschate urges patience with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's debut plans

India's assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate stated that 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is ready for international cricket, but must adhere to the team's established selection process, following India's recent 0-2 T20I series loss to Ireland. Sooryavanshi had an exceptional IPL season, scoring 776 runs and earning multiple awards, leading to heightened expectations for his international debut. Ten Doeschate emphasized the importance of continuity and squad balance, while acknowledging India's struggles with adapting to conditions during the Ireland series. He dismissed calls for a more conservative batting approach despite recent batting collapses. The team now shifts focus to a tour of England beginning July 1, where selection debates regarding Sooryavanshi are anticipated to continue.
