Ryder Cup players set for Irish Open in September

The Irish Open will feature Robert MacIntyre, Patrick Reed, Francesco Molinari, and Sepp Straka from September 9-13 at the Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg, County Clare. Defending champion Rory McIlroy and John Rahm are also expected to compete alongside notable players Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington, Luke Donald, and Tyrrell Hatton. Reed is currently leading the Race to Dubai and has won twice on the DP World Tour this year. MacIntyre has not played since finishing tied for 28th at the Open last month. US President Donald Trump is expected to attend the event as part of a visit to Ireland.
