Sabres consider trade options for Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen amid Hellebuyck rumors

Summary

The Buffalo Sabres are exploring trade options involving Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen as discussions around Connor Hellebuyck heat up. Initially linked to a trade with the Winnipeg Jets, reports now indicate Luukkonen may move in a separate three-team deal due to the Jets' current goaltending situation. Winnipeg has two goalies performing well, reducing their need for Luukkonen. The New York Rangers are seen as a logical destination for Luukkonen, given their injuries at goaltender. Rumors suggest negotiations with the Rangers are facing challenges, impacting potential trade leverage for the Sabres.
