Sabres sign Peyton Krebs to four-year, $18 million contract

The Buffalo Sabres announced the signing of forward Peyton Krebs to a four-year, $18 million deal on July 13, 2026. Krebs set career highs last season with 12 goals and 27 assists. Over his career, he has accumulated 42 goals and 91 assists split between Buffalo and Vegas. Krebs, who was a first-round pick by Vegas in 2019, was part of the trade that sent Jack Eichel to Buffalo. He has also represented Canada in international play, including the 2023 world championships.
