Saegertown Panthers defeat Mount Union, advance to state quarterfinals

The Saegertown baseball team beat Mount Union 7-3 in the PIAA Class 2A first round game on Monday. Saegertown took the lead in the first inning with a run scored by Blake Burchill. Mount Union responded quickly, leading 2-1 after the first inning. The Panthers regained control in the third inning with a three-run effort, holding off Mount Union despite a late run in the fifth.
