The New Orleans Saints traded linebacker Deion Jones to the San Francisco 49ers for running back Zamir White. This comes as the Saints face injuries to their running back group, specifically with Alvin Kamara dealing with an MCL sprain. White, who previously signed a one-year deal with the 49ers, is expected to contribute in the early part of the season. Jones, who recently joined the Saints, was not guaranteed a roster spot, making the trade beneficial for New Orleans as they bolster their depth without additional salary costs.
