The New Orleans Saints added depth to both sides of the line of scrimmage on Monday by claiming two players off the waiver wire. The team secured offensive tackle Mason Murphy and defensive tackle Colby Wooden. Murphy entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears after playing at Auburn and USC. Wooden, a 2023 fourth-round pick for the Green Bay Packers, appeared in 16 games last season before a trade sent him to the Indianapolis Colts in March. The Colts released the defensive lineman during final roster cutdowns prior to the current move. These additions arrive as teams finalize their personnel following the end of the preseason.
