Saints and Browns swap wide receivers on practice squads
Summary

The New Orleans Saints signed former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman to their practice squad earlier this week. Simultaneously, the Browns added former Saints wide receiver Bub Means to their own practice squad. Means, a 2024 fifth-round draft pick, missed the entire 2025 season after being placed on injured reserve in August. Prior to his departure, Means saw limited action for the Saints during his 2024 rookie campaign before sustaining an injury that November. The Saints currently maintain a thin active roster at wide receiver, featuring Chris Olave, Devaughn Vele, Bryce Lance, and Barion Brown. Meanwhile, the Browns moved to add Means to their roster following the decision to release Tillman from their own organization.
