Saints rookie Brock Rechsteiner suspended for first six games of season

Summary

The New Orleans Saints announced that rookie wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner has been suspended for the first six games of the 2026 season, as revealed by the NFL on August 6. The reason for the suspension has not been disclosed, but it may relate to the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. Despite the suspension, Rechsteiner can participate in training camp and preseason activities before it begins on August 30. The Saints recently faced roster uncertainties due to a season-ending injury for defensive lineman Bryan Bresee and the retirement of wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk.
