Saints rookie Jordyn Tyson lands on injured reserve with hamstring injury

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Jordyn Tyson has been placed on injured reserve following a right hamstring injury. The injury occurred during a joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars over two weeks ago. Tyson, the 8th overall pick in the recent draft, is ineligible to return to the active roster until at least Week 5 of the NFL season. His selection by the team faced scrutiny due to his history of injuries during his college career at Colorado and Arizona. The rookie previously missed the entire 2023 season with a torn knee ligament and has dealt with other persistent physical setbacks.
