Saints running back duo ranks among NFL's best entering 2026 season

Summary

Bleacher Report has ranked the New Orleans Saints' running back duo of Alvin Kamara and Travis Etienne as the third-best in the NFL. This assessment comes ahead of the 2026 season and hinges on Kamara's potential role change as he approaches the end of his career. Etienne, having consistently reached significant scrimmage yard milestones in recent seasons, offers a younger, explosive option for the Saints. Kamara’s ability to stay healthy will be crucial, as he has missed significant playing time over the past few seasons. Both running backs could provide the Saints offense with a strong backfield presence if they can remain on the field together in 2026.
