Saints sign wide receiver Cedric Tillman to the team practice squad

The New Orleans Saints signed former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman to their practice squad on Tuesday. The addition comes as the team addresses depth issues at the receiver position heading into Week 1. New Orleans is currently without first-round pick Jordyn Tyson, who will miss at least the first four games of the regular season due to an injury. Additionally, the Saints placed Mason Tipton on the physically unable to perform list. Tillman, who was released by the Browns during final roster cuts, recorded 71 catches for 833 yards and five touchdowns during his three seasons in Cleveland. He joins an active roster receiver group that includes Chris Olave, Devaughn Vele, Bryce Lane, and Barion Brown.
