Saka makes impact off the bench in Arsenal's Champions League win

Summary

Bukayo Saka played a key role off the bench in Arsenal's 3-0 Champions League victory over Lille on October 13, 2026. Returning from an illness, Saka assisted Eberechi Eze's second goal and scored the third himself. Manager Mikel Arteta had encouraged Saka to step up his goal contributions, aiming for two or three goals per game. This marked a continuation of Saka's positive trend, as he has scored four goals in nine games this season and has previously scored 20 goals in a single campaign. Arteta tweaked Saka's positioning to enhance his scoring opportunities, leading to this impactful performance.
