Sam Bodoano completes 62-mile run to Lord's Cricket Ground

Sam Bodoano has completed a 62-mile run from Lord's Cricket Ground in London to Valley End Cricket Club in Woking. The 14-hour effort was staged to attempt a Guinness World Record for the longest bowling run-up. Bodoano carried a cricket ball throughout the journey while dressed in full cricket whites. He finalized the attempt by bowling to his father to start a match at the Woking venue. The effort raised nearly £6,000 for the Ruth Strauss Foundation. Guinness World Records officials confirmed they must now conduct a formal evidence review before the record is officially recognized, a process expected to take approximately two weeks.
