Gadsden City quarterback Sam Sollie announced his commitment to Auburn on August 8 during a school ceremony. He chose Auburn over offers from Alabama, Florida, Mississippi State, and Tennessee. Gadsden City begins its 2026 season on August 21 against Oxford.
