Sam Sunderland prepares for world record motorcycle journey in September

Sam Sunderland, a two-time Dakar Rally champion, will attempt to set the world record for the fastest motorcycle circumnavigation of the globe, beginning on September 5 from London. His route spans over 18,000 miles across five continents and requires averaging 1,050 miles per day on a single Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer bike. The current record stands at 19 days, eight hours, and 25 minutes, established in 2002. Sunderland aims to use this challenge to inspire others. He will stop the clock when transporting between continents, and is prepared for the physical demands of the ride.
