Samuel Bamba leaves VfL Bochum for CS Marítimo transfer

VfL Bochum has officially announced the departure of Samuel Bamba to CS Marítimo Funchal. The Portuguese club and Bochum have agreed to keep the transfer fee confidential. Bamba, 22, made 10 competitive appearances for Bochum before struggling for playing time and spending last season on loan at Willem II Tilburg. VfL sporting director Simon Zoller stated that the decision was made to provide Bamba with more opportunities.
